We all have something we’d like to change. It’s just a different “something” for each of us. But here’s the tension:
The very change we long for is often the change we resist.
Better Days Group exists to help individuals and organizations maximize potential and experience life rooted in purpose and meaning. It is our belief that every human was born with a purpose and destiny to fulfill and our goal is to first help them to identify their design and then develop strategies and systems for making it a reality.

Yogi Berra once said, “When you come to the fork in the road… Take it!” Now that is some good advice. I used to have a favorite saying, “Do something even if it’s wrong!” However, that is probably not very good advice. I do think, though, that the key to success in life is to keep moving.
On the road of life there are signs everywhere. How well do you pay attention to them? How well do you follow their advice?
“Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something and that this thing must be attained.” Marie Curie
“Do something every day that you don't want to do; this is the golden rule for acquiring the habit of doing your duty without pain.” Mark Twain
How many times have you been told, “It’s not about you”? (and probably from someone else who thought it was all about them!) Most of the time I agree with that line of thinking, but for today let me say, “IT IS ALL ABOUT YOU!” Sounds fun, doesn’t it?
Thirteen years ago I made one of the greatest decisions ever as a parent. I wasn’t smart enough at the time to realize how huge it was, but looking back I can see that it was without a doubt one of my brightest moments.
he 1989 film “Field of Dreams”, starring Kevin Costner, is one of my all-time favorite movies! It has so many great life lessons we can all apply. The story line is simply that if Costner would build a baseball diamond in the middle of his corn field, the players and fans would appear.
It is astonishing to me, and sad on many levels, how much of the world lives life with no sense of meaning or purpose. I have repeated a saying for years: “Everyone ends up somewhere in life, so you may as well end up somewhere on purpose!” Don’t you agree with that?
Every day of my life I eat a banana. I love the way they taste and my personal nutritionist says it’s one of the healthiest habits I could have. He also has me eat an apple a day. He says the old phrase really is true.
I am one of the busiest people I know and I bet you have a lot going on yourself! One of the greatest struggles with busyness is that we stay stretched out - and at times stressed out - trying to get it all done
